Limousines are always appropriate and there is no movie premiere to big or too small to warrant luxury limo transport. The community of Gorseinon in South Wales found this out when their tiny village saw the arrival of Hollywood star Kenneth Branagh in his own private chauffeur driven limousine.

Branagh showed up for the world premiere of his new movie, which was to be shown in a shed in the small Welsh village. A red carpet was also laid out to welcome the actor from his limousine and into the 23 seat La Charrette, set up in what was once a railway wagon. The premiere of Branagh�s movie Alien Love Triangle was launched in Gorseinon to mark the closing of one of Britain�s smallest cinemas.

But the intimate, back water venue did not stop the locals and the stars from enjoying a glitzy and glamorous night and after disembarking from his limousine, Branagh not only got to read the red carpet and meet the fans, he also did so while a Hollywood style spotlight lit up the night sky.

Even though Branagh had arrived in a chauffeur driven limousine and was decked out in a tuxedo and bow tie, this didn�t stop him carrying in a box of popcorn for the complete cinema experience. He even remarked �This is fantastic, just like the street I grew up on so I feel completely at home. It is a symbol for why people go to the cinema.�

The small cinema in Gorseinon opened 55 years ago, but has become too expensive to maintain. It will therefore be dismantled and rebuilt as a museum, but the cinema and the people of Gorseinon now have one last special night to remember, and the exciting appearance of a Hollywood star in his limousine, to add to the new museum history.
